| Claim | Predicate | Summary | Status | Tier | Review | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
claim:john-edwin-mixon:name:1 | name | John Edwin Mixon The corrected workbook and the linked FamilySearch record identify Millard F. Mixon and Milberry Elizabeth Cook as his parents, and the Find a Grave interment list holds the family in the Mixon Cemetery; the two compiled sources spell the parents differently (“Millard F.” and “Melba Elizabeth Cook” against “Millard Fillmore” and “Milberry Elizabeth Cook”). No source states any connection to Michael's direct Mixon line. | supported | 3 · compiled-genealogy | accepted |

claim:john-edwin-mixon:living-status:1 | living-status | deceased Deceased: both compiled sources give a death in 1966 and an interment in the Mixon Cemetery. | supported | 3 · compiled-genealogy | accepted |
|
claim:john-edwin-mixon:birth:1 | birth | birth · 1879 The compiled FamilySearch record gives 5 February 1879 in Amite County, Mississippi and the Find a Grave Mixon Cemetery interment list the same date; the event carries the year only, because no record has been read and the collateral group’s exact dates were deferred by the review. | supported | 3 · compiled-genealogy | accepted |

claim:john-edwin-mixon:death:1 | death | death · 1966 Both compiled sources give 12 July 1966; the event carries the year only, for the same reason as the birth. | supported | 3 · compiled-genealogy | accepted |

claim:john-edwin-mixon:sibling-of:1 | sibling-of | sibling-of Frank Leslie Mixon Handwritten cemetery notes and the linked FamilySearch family record place Frank in John Edwin Mixon's sibling group, the children of Millard F. Mixon and Milberry Elizabeth Cook, and the Find a Grave interment list holds the whole family in the Mixon Cemetery. The parents' name forms differ between the compiled sources — “Millard F.” and “Melba Elizabeth Cook” on FamilySearch, “Millard Fillmore” and “Milberry Elizabeth Cook” on the interment list — and neither has been checked against a record. | supported | 3 · compiled-genealogy | accepted |

claim:john-edwin-mixon:sibling-of:2 | sibling-of | sibling-of Minnie Myrtis Mixon Handwritten cemetery notes and the linked FamilySearch family record place Minnie Myrtis in John Edwin Mixon's sibling group, the children of Millard F. Mixon and Milberry Elizabeth Cook; the Find a Grave interment list carries her under the married form “Minnie Myrtis Mixon Morgan”. Neither compiled source has been checked against a record. | supported | 3 · compiled-genealogy | accepted |

Question
question:mixon-cemetery-network:connection(open)How do John Edwin Mixon's sibling group (children of Millard F. Mixon and Milberry Elizabeth Cook), the Foster/Carruth family in the Mixon Cemetery, and William Hilton Mixon connect to William Bennie Mixon's direct line?
Next: The one new observation of 2026-10-08 is a generation, not a link: Millard Fillmore Mixon (1857–1914), whom the compiled sources give as John Edwin's father, and James T. Mixon (1859–1937) are of one generation and share one family cemetery with their families. The 1860 and 1870 Amite County census images at MSGenWeb would show whether they were brothers, which would make John Edwin's group William Bennie's first cousins — a lead, not a claim, until a record states the relationship. Also compare the parents named in the FamilySearch record for John Edwin Mixon with J.T. Mixon's and William Bennie's households in the 1880 and 1900 Amite County census; for William Hilton, find a census household listing him with Tynes Sr. and their parents; the Foster/Carruth entries stay an associated network unless a record names a Mixon relationship.
